Tyler Allen

Tyler Allen was born in Indianapolis in June of 1996. He is the son of Roger
and Mindy Allen. Tyler's first racing competition was in Kid Carts during the
spring of 2002, when he was only 5 yrs. old . During his first year he placed
runner up in his division.
Tyler was a very quick learner, for in 2003, he won the Indiana State Title in
the dirt division go-karts @ Ben -Hur Speedway in Crawfordsville, Indiana. This
is the home of the Indiana State Dirt Track Championships and Tyler repeated as
the champ in 03.
By 2005, he won the points in the junior division, was the state runner up again,
as well as broke the track record @ Ben Hur Speedway. Tyler also qualified
and competed @ Tunica, Miss. @ the world's largest indoor carting event.
Still in 05 Tyler went on to Junior sprints and was not only the heat winner,
Trophy Dash Winner and Feature Winner, But set a NEW TRACK RECORD again
@ the N.M.M.A Nationals @ Will Rogers Speedway in Claremore, OK. This took
him to 7 feature wins @ US 24 Speedway and also a new track record.
His career in Junior sprints led him to the 2006 RUMBLE IN THE DOME in FT
Wayne Indiana where he won both of his heats and BOTH features in 2 days!
in 2007 Tyler went on to racing Crate Late Models @ 10 yrs old. His first
season in the crates Tyler went on to finish 7th in the Storm Pay Racing Late
Models Series @ Twin Cities Raceway Park in Vernon, Indiana.
Tyler is 1 of 120 driver to be invited to the 2nd Annual Crate Racing USA
Weekly Racing Fall Nationals @ Columbus, Miss in Nov of 07.
08-------Look for Tyler around the state and many of the regional tracks.
1. This past summer Tyler and his uncle went to a local kart rental track and
was turned away due to his height.....Boy did they miss a show!!!!!!
2. Kyle Petty asked for Tyler's Autograph and said they would sell it on EBAY
in the future!!!! Tyler collected over $300 in the summer of 2005 for the
Victory Junction Gang during the annual charity ride in Indiana....
